Hello, my lovely blog friends, I am so happy you are here. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we challenge you to create "Anything but a Card". Yes, just make anything and join us! I was inspired to create a trio of mixed media canvases using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Mini Blueprints and Copic Markers to colore the images.
To start this project, I first applied some modeling paste around these three 3" X 3"mini canvases and created some texture around the edges. Then I colored these canvases with various Ranger Dylusions Paints. Some tiny text print was stamped on the background using the black ink pad.
On a piece of heavy white card stock, I stamped these mini blueprint images using VersaFine black ink pad and then embossed these images with clear embossing powder and a heat tool. These images were colored with Copic Markers then torn and pasted on the mini canvases using Tombow Mono Glue.
I randomly applied some acrylic paints on the canvases with a brush and outlined the canvases with Faber Castell Big Brush Pen with different colors on the edges of the canvases. The sentiments were added with my favorite Tim Holtz Snarky Stickers.
