Mixed Media Gingerbread Man Tag STAMPtember

Hello, my dear blog friends, I am so happy you are back! STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp calendar. We celebrate it with lots of new products being released and different events happening over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog throughout the whole month of September. I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the new Simon Says Clear Stamp Hip Ginger STAMPtember on Tim Holtz Etcetetra #8 Chipboard tag.

On this tag, I first applied some different shades of Distress Ink on the background and drew the white line around the tag using white Gelly Roll Pen. On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the gingerbread man and all the clothes and accessories. These stamped images were colored with watercolor paper and cut out using scissors. 

The gingerbread men were pasted with all the clothes and accessories using Tombow Mono Glue. I drew some white lines around the gingerbread men. The sentiment was stamped on the tag and heat embossed with white embossing power and a heating tool. 

I added some more sticker sentiments and stars gems on the tag to finish off this gingerbread tag. I just had so much fun creating this weird tag with these weird gingerbread men. STAMPtember® Party - Simon Says Stamp GingerBread Man Card

Hello, my lovely crafty friends! Welcome to our STAMPtember Party! We are celebrating our annual STAMPtember event and here is our special git for you - the Simon Says Stamp exclusive tote bag free with purchase of $100 or more simply using the code FTTE99. For this fantastic Stamptember party, I made this Gingerbread man card using the new Simon Says Clear Stamps Hip Ginger.

I trimmed the white card stock into a 4.25" X 5.5" card base, and sewed a piece of patterned paper that I found in my paper stash on it.

The gingerbread men, and their sweaters and accessories were stamped on a piece of watercolor paper using the black ink pad, and colored with watercolors and pen brushes.

 I cut out these stamped images and glue the accessories on the gingerbread men with scissors. 

The sentiment was stamped and sewed on a piece of kraft card stock. I adhered all the embellishments on the card using foam tabs. Some more sentiments were added with Tim Holtz Stickers. To finish off this project, I tied a ribbon bow on the card.
