Mixed Media Tag AALL & Create Birthday Celebration

Hello, my talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we are challenging you to join us for our 11th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!  Can you believe that this challenge has been going for 11 years!! As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company - AALL & Create. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using AALL & Veggies A4 Clear Stamp on the tag, and decorated the image with Ranger Mini Glossy Accents Glue Adhesive and added sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Sentiment Label Stickers.

To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Tim Holtz Backdrop Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool then using a blending tool and Distress Ink Pads I also used a black pen to outline the edges of the tag. 

I stamped the image on the tag using the clear stamp from AALL & Create Veggies Clear Stamps and the black ink pad. The image was colored using watercolors and a brush. I added a layer of Glossy Accents on the image to create the glossy effect on the veggie. I attached the metal clip and a token that were colored with Distress Paints on the tag. To finish off this project, I adhered two birthday label stickers on the tag.

Mixed Media Tag Happy Birthday Stampers Anonymous

Welcome back to the new challenge my crafty friends! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we are inviting you to our join the party and help us to celebrate the Challenge Blog’s 10th Anniversary!!

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Stampers Anonymous. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I was inspired to create a mixed media birthday tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Scales and  Distress Oxide Spray on the background, and decorated it with the stamped images using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Birthday Blueprint and Simply Sayings.

After applying a layer of Gesso on this size 8 tag, I started this project with spraying Distress Oxide Sprays over the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Scales on the background of the tag. I stamped the text prints on the tag using Tim Holtz Cling Stamps Faded and heat embossed it with the clear embossing powder and a heat tool. 

On a piece of white heavy card stock, I stamped the birthday hat and the sentiment with different colors of Distress Ink pads, cut and pasted the image and sentiment on the tag with double sided tapes. I randomly added some sentiments with Tim Holtz Quote Stickers and Remnant Rubs. To finish off this project, I distressed and outlined the edges of the tag.
