Mixed Media Tag Stitch It

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STITCH IT". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Echo Park Yankee Doodle 6 x 6 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with La-La Land Crafts Scalloped Frames Dies and Tim Holtz idea-ology Paper Dolls Mini.

To start this project, I trimmed a piece of recycled corrugated cardboard into a #8 tag. I made stitches around the tag with the sewing machine, and added some touch of Distress Paints. The frame with faux stitches was die cut using Big Shot, La-La Land Crafts Scalloped Frames Dies and Echo Park Yankee Doodle 6 x 6 Paper Pad.

I added some Tim Holtz metal embellishments on the tag, them attached the Tim Holtz idea-ology Quote Chip Label to finish off this stitched project.
