July 4th Tag Red White Blue



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "RED, WHITE and / or BLUE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Echo Park Yankee Doodle 6 x 6 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology FACTORY TAGS Embellishments and Tim Holtz idea-ology Large Fastener.


I started this project with trimming the pattern paper from Echo Park Yankee Doodle 6 x 6 Paper Pad and pasted it on the #8 tag using Glue Runner. The metal embellishments were colored with Tim Holtz Distress Paints and adhered on the tag with Glue dots. 


I decorated this July 4th tag with the stitch scrap embellishment and sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz idea-ology Clippings Sticker Book to finish off this project. Hope you like my red, white, blue tag. Happy  Independence Day!
