Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This
week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "NOT A CARD". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS.
I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the
tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool, and an art dauber and Distress
Paint. The window frame and scenery transparency were layered and pasted on
the tag. The paper doll and the butterfly were layered and pasted on the
window frame using the double sided tapes.
The metal embellishments were colored with Distress Paints and adhered on the
tag using Tombow Mono Glue. As the final touch, I added some sentiments
with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book.
