Mixed Media Tag Heart Valentines



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HAVE A HEART". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp Kissing Booth Wafer Dies and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LOCKS AND KEYS Adornments.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag using a distress tool, and Art Daubers and Distress Ink Pads. The booth and hearts were die cut using Simon Says Stamp Kissing Booth Wafer Dies Big Shot machine. I colored the hearts and the sign on the booth using Zig Watercolor Brush Pens. 


I colored the seam binding with Distress Ink and made a cute bow. Some Tim Holtz metal embellishments were adhered on the tag. To finish off this project, I added some more sentiments using Tim Holtz metallic stickers.

Mixed Media Tag Recycle



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "RECYCLE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and recycled corrugated cardboard on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology FACTORY TAGS Embellishments.


To start this project, I cut the corrugated card board from a gift box and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool, and an art dauber and Distress Ink Pads. I then outlined the tag with a black pen. 


The metal tag was colored with Distress Paints and attached on the tag with fasteners. The stitched scrap embellishment was pasted on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. I added some more sentiments with Tim Holtz chip label and stickers to finish off this RECYCLE project.

Mixed Media Tag Holiday Wishes Sparkle and Shine



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPARKLE AND SHINE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Memory Box MAJESTIC HUES GLITTER 6x6 Paper Pack on the background, and decorated it with      Tim Holtz Sizzix GEO CHRISTMAS Thinlits Dies and Simon Says Stamp Cozy Wishes Wafer Dies.


To start this project, I cut the glitter card stock and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I die cut the geo reindeer head and the holiday sentiment with glitter card stock, and pasted them on the tag using the double sided tapes. 


I added the some sparkle and shine Christmas elements and sentiment stickers to complete this cute holiday tag.

Mixed Media Tag Things with Wheels



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THINGS WITH WHEELS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp CLASSIC BICYCLE Wafer Dies and CZ Design Little Banners Wafer Dies.
 

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool and outlined the tag with a black pen. On the heavy color card stock, I die cut the bicycles and pasted them on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue.  


The sentiments were die cut using the color card stocks and CZ Design Little Banners Wafer Dies. I added more sentiments with Tim Holtz stickers and metal embellishments. To finish off this "THINGS with WHEELS" project, I splattered some yellow Distress Paint and water mixture to create the beautiful sunshine.

Mixed Media Tag A New Start Brutus Monroe


Hello, my dear blog friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome back to the new challenge. This is our first theme of 2024 at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and our theme is "A NEW START". This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Brutus Monroe Dream Bigger Stamp and Die Bundle
and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad Set Of 12 Ranger to create a dream catcher, and added sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.


The dream catcher was stamped using Brutus Monroe Dream Bigger Stamp and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. I then die cut it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Black BIG SHOT FOLDAWAY Machine with accessories. I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book and wish we all dream bigger in this new year :)
