Watercolor Bookmark Things with Wings Owl

Hello, my talented art friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THINGS WITH WINGS". I was inspired to create a watercolored bookmark using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps ECLECTIC ADVERTS on the background, then decorated it with owls cut from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and added sentiments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.

I started this project with trimming the bookmark using the watercolor paper. I stamped the background using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps ECLECTIC ADVERTS and Prima Marketing FINNABAIR 2 Clear Stamp with Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad. 

 

The bookmark was colored using Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET Art Philosophy and Ranger Studio Paint ARTIST BRUSHES Brush. I cut the cute owl image from the Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and adhered it on the bookmark using double sided foam tapes. To finish off this bookmark, I added some sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.
