Mixed Media Holiday Christmas Tag Die Cuts

Hello, my talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "DIE CUTS". was inspired to create a mixed media holiday tag using Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with die cut embellishments using CZ Design Stamps and Dies ORNAMENT OPTIONS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Ephemera Pack.

To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad and pasted it on this size 8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag using Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool, then outlined the tag using a black pen. The ornaments were stamped and die cut on another piece of patterned paper from the same paper collection. I distressed, outlined and glued the die cuts of these ornaments, then adhered them on the tag with double sided tapes.

On the background of the tag, I pasted the holiday decoration pieces from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Ephemera Pack and randomly added the Christmas sentiments. The metal and pearl embellishments were adhered on the tag to finish off the project. I hope you like my die cuts project and got inspired. Please join our challenge this week and happy crafting!
