Mixed Media Tag Back To School

Hello, my dear talented friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BACK TO SCHOOL". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology TYPE CHIPS Embellishments.


I started this project with trimming Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad and pasted it on this size 8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag using Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool, then outlined the tag using a black pen. I colored Tim Holtz Paper Doll then layered it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAME, and adhered them on the tag. 

The sentiment was added using Tim Holtz Idea-ology TYPE CHIPS Embellishments. I adhered the colored typewriter and clock images from Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING LAYERS. Tim Holtz clip and Hitch Fastener embellishments were glued on the tag to complete the project.
