Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "IT'S UP IN THE AIR". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia COSMOS 8x8 Paper and Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.
To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia COSMOS 8x8 Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The background of the tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and outlined with a black pen. I distressed the frame from Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and pasted it on the tag with the moon and night sky background from Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS. The mini paper doll was layered and adhered on the frame with double sided tapes.
The butterfly from Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS and key from Idea-ology WORD KEYS were embellished on the frame with Tombow Mono Glue. I pasted some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers to finish off this IT'S UP IN THE AIR project.
