Mixed Media Tag Anything But a Card

Hello, my crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ANYTHING BUT A CARD". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Cosmo Paper on the background and decorated it with the embellishments from Stamperia Sir Vagabond Gears and Clocks Grayboard. 

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia Cosmos Paper collection and pasted it on this size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool then Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool. I outlined the tag using Faber Castell Big Brush Black Pen. 

The owl was cut out from the same paper collection, and pasted it on the tag using double sided tapes. I colored the gear embellishments from Stamperia Vagabond Gears and Clocks Grayboard using the Distress Ink Pads, then glued them on the tag using Tombo Glue. 

Some sentiments were added on the tag using the Tim Holtz Stickers and Quote Chips. I attached a colored clip on the top of the tag to finish this "ANYTHING BUT A CARD" project. Hope you like my creation and join us for this challenge. Happy crafting!

Mixed Media Tag Add Some Texture Carabelle

Hello friends, hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, our theme is "MAKE SOME TEXTURE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste for the texture on the background and decorated it with a stamped image using Carabelle Studio Elsie Cling Stamp.

I started this project with applied some Tim Hotlz Grit Paste on the background with a palette knife to create the texture. After the paste was dry, I applied Distress Paints on the tag with Yellow then Tea Dye and Expresso colors. I distressed the edges of the tag with some Distress Ink Pads and blending tools. 

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the image and colored it with watercolors. I tore the image and glued it on the tag. Some sentiments were pasted using the stickers and the quote chip. I also randomly added some rubs-on texts and prints. Hope you like the texture I created and this cute image. Join us to make your texture. Happy crafting!
