Mixed Media Tag Favorite Stamp Halloween

Hello, friends! Welcome back! Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for the new challenge!This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we challenge you to "USE YOUR FAVORITE STAMP".

STAMPtember® is a very special month for Simon Says Stamp Store and this week we are challenging you to use your favorite stamp, no digi images allowed. We are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don’t have these supplies yet we would like you to use Simon’s Exclusive Products if you have them. This isn’t necessary to join in with the challenge but we would appreciate it.

I was inspired to create a mixed media Halloween tag using Simon Says Cling Stamp Crackle Background on the background and decorate it with Simon Says Stamp Stencil Floating Leaves and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Monstrous. 

To start this project, I stamped the crackle background image on the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Abandoned collection with a light color ink pad, then heated it with the clear embossing powder. The stamped paper was cut and pasted on a size 8 tag. On a piece of watercolor paper I sprayed the Oxide Spray over the Tim Holtz Floating Leaves stencil. I also stamped the skull image on a piece of watercolor paper, colored it with watercolors and cut it with scissors. 

These embellishments were adhered on the tag using Tombow Glue and double sided tapes. I added some sentiments on the tag. To finish off this project, I outlined the tag using Faber Castell Black Big Brush Pen.
