Simply Paper Crafts: May 2020

Hey, my dear blog friends, welcome back for the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WE'RE GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES". This is Cath’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight, please check her blog for all the great inspiration if you haven't done so.

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Sea World Paper on Tim Holtz Etcetera #8 Tag Chipboard and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Chips and Mini Gears Sprockets.

I started this project with trimming and pasted the paper from Stamperia Sea World collection on this size 8 tag. The edges were distressed using Distress Ink pad and the blender. I then outlined the tag using a black brush pen.

The gears, sentiments and embellishments were adhered on the tag. I splattered some Distress Paint and water mixture on the tag using a brush.

Hello, friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WE'RE All A-BUZZ". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 39 for the texture on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Specimen Remnant Rubs and Theories Quote Chips.

I started this project by trimming the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Paper Abandoned Collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I added some texture by applying the modeling paste over the mini stencil on the tag.

The Prima Marketing flowers were arranged and adhered on the tag using Tombow Glue. I added some bees and bugs on the tag using Tim Holtz Specimen Rubs.

Some sentiments were added on the tag using Tim Holtz Quote Chips and stickers. I applied some distress paint around the tag and outlined the edges of the tag using a black pen. To finish off this project, I splattered some Distress Ink on the tag with a brush.
