Mixed Media Tag Love Rust It Up

Happy Monday! My friends, welcome back for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "RUST IT UP". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Paper Stash Abandoned on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea- Ology Keyholes Key Hardware and Ornate Plates. 

To start this project, I cut and pasted the paper from Tim Holtz Paper Stash Abandoned collection on the size 8 tag. 

The sentiments were cut from Simon Says Sentiment Strip Cheeky Love. I added the metal gear  and ornate embellishments that were colored using Distress Paints on the tag. 

The flower embellishments were attached on the tag using adhesive dots. I finished off this tag with distressing the edges of the tag using Distress Paint.
