Mixed Media Tag Monochrome Halloween

Hello, friends, welcome back for the new challenge! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for this week's challenge! Our theme at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "MONOCHRONE" - to use one color on your project and skin tones if necessary.

I was inspired to create a mixed media Halloween tag using Tim Holtz Etcetera #8 Tag Chipboard and Idea-Ology Vignette Box Structures on the background and decorated it with Skull Fragments.

To start this project, I pasted the paper from Tim Holtz Abandoned Collection and trimmed it to fit the Size 8 chipboard tag. The edges of the tag were distressed using Distress Paint and a black pen.

I attached the Idea-Ology Vignette Box on the tag, and decorated the box with stenciled background, paper dolls and some Halloween elements.

The paper doll, some metal embellishments and rubs on were added on the tag. I really enjoyed creating this Halloween tag using these spooky and fun elements with the monochrome color scheme.  I hope you like my project and got inspired to join us. Happy crafting!

I just love Halloween and your monochrome tag is amazing Meihsia. The image of Edgar Allan Poe is very striking and the headstone and skulls have just the right amount of spook! Love it! Hugs, Anne xx

Oh, that is brilliantly creepy - and of course I love the monochrome neutrals. Love the headstone and the owl perched at the top.
