Mixed Media Tag It

Hello, my friends, I hope you all had a great weekend and welcome back for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, our theme is "TAG IT". I was inspired to created a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 39 for the texture on the background and decorated it with Sizzix Crochet Thinlits Dies.

I started this project with creating texture on the background of the tag with Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 39 and Modeling Paste using a palette knife. The background was colored using various shades of Distress Paints.

On a piece of heavy card stock I embossed the wood grain embellishment using Tim Holtz Lumber 3D Texture Embossing Folder and colored it with Distress Paint. I die cut the crochet embellishments and colored them with Distress Paints. All these embellishments were attached on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. 

The colored metal embellishments were adhered on the tag using the heavy glue. I pasted some sentiment stickers and randomly added some rubs on.  It's really fun to creating this project with so many beautiful colors and I truly love the cute flowers and the crochet embellishments.
