Hello, my talented crafty friends, welcome back for the new challenge this week. At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we want to see your creation with "Tear It Up" elements. I am looking forward to seeing what you create!
I made a mixed media holiday tag with torn corrugate paper using Idea-Ology Textured Surfaces and decorated it with Tim Holtz Remnant Christmas Rubs.
To start this project, I applied the crackle paint on this size 8 kraft tag, then applied Distress Paints on the tag randomly. I attached the metal clip and snowflake that were colored with Distress Paints on the tag.
The center of the tag was decorated with layered torn corrugate paper and kraft paper. I attached the wreath and die cut sentiment using Tombow Mono Glue and Tombow Adhesive Tab for dimensional effect.
More sentiments were added with stickers and colored word band. I outlined and distressed the edges of the tag using Faber-Castell Big Brush Pen to finish this project.
I always enjoy creating Christmas and holiday projects and have fun with these torn elements on this piece this week. I hope this tag inspired you to create and join us for this "Tear It Up" challenge. Happy crafting!
