Mixed Media Valentines Shaker Card

Hello, my dear friends, hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SHAKE IT UP" - simply add a shaker element to your project like a shaker card or a snow globe. I was inspired to create a Valentine's Day shaker card with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Paper Stash Memoranda on the background and using Simon Says Clear Stamps Love Greetings Mix to decorate it. 

I started this project with trimming the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Memoranda collection and pasted this 5.5" X 4.25" red card base. On a piece of black card stock, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. 

To create the window of the shaker embellishment, I die cut the frame using red card stock and pasted it with the recycled plastic packaging using double side tapes. The window was adhered with the white stock shaker base using the double sided foam tapes to create the dimension after the sequins were placed on the shaker base.

Some more stamped sentiments using the same Simon Says Clear Stamps collection and the black ink pad.   I added the Prima Flowers as the final touch to complete this Valentine's Day shaker card! Hope you like my creation and join us to SHAKE IT UP! Happy crafting!

Llama Card Brutus Monroe New Product

Hello, my dear friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome back to the first whole new challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge in 2021. This week we are challenging you to use a New/Unused Product. Maybe you have had a product for ages, or maybe you received a new crafty gift. Whatever it is we would love to see it! 

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I was inspired to create a card using new Brutus Monroe Neon Yellow Aqua Pigment on the background, then heat embossed it with Brutus Monroe Icicle Ultra Fine Embossing Powder and colored the images with Pigment Powder from Brutus Monroe.
