Mixed Media Halloween Tag Spooky



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPOOKY". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Paper Dolls and Tim Holtz Idea-ology HINGE CLIPS Nickel Metal Hardware.

I started this project with trimming the black heavy card stock into a size 8 tag. I layered the Tim Holtz Halloween Paper Dolls, transparency and window frame, and pasted them on the tag using double sided foam tapes. 


The sentiment texts were added using Tim Holtz Halloween Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies. I added some more spooky Halloween elements to finish off this mixed media Halloween tag.

Mixed Media Halloween Tag Text It


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TEXT IT". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology SKULLS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LOCKS AND KEYS Adornments.


I started this project with trimming the black heavy card stock into a size 8 tag. I layered the Tim Holtz Halloween Paper Dolls, transparency and window frame, and pasted them on the tag using double sided foam tapes.

Mixed Media Tag Explore Taiwan


Hello, my dear blog friends, happy Columbus Day and welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "EXPLORE". October 10th is Taiwan National Day and Taiwan, the beautiful island nation is where I am from. I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with AALL & Create Taiwan A7 Clear Stamps and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps LIFE QUOTES.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper from the Stamperia paper collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag using Distress Ink Pad and Art Dauber, and a black pen. 
The sentiment was stamped on the background of the tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps LIFE QUOTES and the black ink pad. 


The girl image and the Taiwan flag were stamped on a piece of watercolor paper and colored with Zig watercolor brushes. I cut the pasted these images on the tag with the double sided foam tapes. I added some Tim Holtz metal embellishments on the background for this cute pink tag to celebrate Taiwan National Day.

Mixed Media Tag Katzelkraft


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD SOME TEXTURE". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Katzelkraft. This week we’re welcoming 2 fabulous designers into the spotlight! Teresa York and Gitta Roolf . Please visit their blogs for all the great creations and inspiration!



To start this project and create the texture on the background, I trimmed the watercolor paper into size 8 tag, embossed it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Cracked 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Big Shot machine, and colored it with Distress Ink Pads and Art Daubers. On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the image using Katzelkraft LES HUMANOIDS Red Rubber Unmounted Stamp and the black ink pad, and colored it with Zig Watercolor Brushes. The image was torn and pasted on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue.

I attached some scraps and metal embellishments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology STITCHED SCRAPS 2 Embellishments, and Tim Holtz Idea-ology MACHINERY HEADS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology ODDS AND ENDS Embellishments. To finish off this project, I added a sentiment using Tim Holtz Idea-ology SNARKY Small Talk Stickers.

Mixed Media Christmas Tag Tim Holtz



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "CHRISTMAS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Backdrops on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Layer Frames and Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Confections.


I started this project with trimming the back drop paper from Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Backdrops and pasted it on the #8 tag. I distressed and outlined the edges of the tag with the art dauber and a black pen. The mini dolls were colored with Zig watercolor brushes, then layered Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Layer Frames on the tag.


I attached some Christmas embellishments such as candy canes and pine cones on the tag. To finish off this Christmas project, I added a holiday sentiment chipboard.

Mixed Media Tag Favorite Color Pink



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?". I was inspired to create a pink mixed media tag using Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and Prima Marketing Floral Song Spring Abstract Flowers.


To start this project, I trimmed the pattern paper from Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 12x12 Paper and
pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag with the distress tool, and art daubers and Ink Pads. The tag was outlined with a black brush pen. I layered the window frame, paper doll and Prima flowers using Tombow Glue and foam tapes. 


I attached some metal embellishments on the tag. The sentiments were added with Tim Holtz Label Stickers. As the final touch, I splattered some Distress Paint and water mixture on the tag.
