Hip Hop Easter Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HIP HOP". I was inspired to create a tag using Stamperia Shabby Rose 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Hippity Hop Thinlits Dies and Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool, an art dauber and a black ink pad. The bunnies were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Hippity Hop Thinlits Dies, heavy color card stocks and Big Shot. 


To finish off this project, I added the Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers and Tim Holtz metal embellishments.

Tag Layer It Up



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "USE EPHERMERA / LAYER IT UP". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Shabby Rose 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers and Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool and a black ink pad. 


The flower embellishments from Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers were layered and adhered on the tag. I added some Tim Holtz stickers to finish off this project.

Mixed Media Tag Transport It


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TRANSPORT IT". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Sea Land 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault World Travel Thinlits Dies and Tim Holtz idea-ology MACHINERY HEADS.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool, an art dauber and a black ink pad. The globe was die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault World Travel Thinlits Dies, heavy color card stocks and Big Shot. 


I added the sentiments with Tim Holtz stickers and finish off this project with some metal embellishments.

Green Birthday Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "A BIT O' GREEN". I was inspired to create a birthday card using AALL & Create Purrfect Birthday A7 Clear to stamp the image on the watercolor paper. The image was colored colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Set and watercolor brushes. 

I trimmed the 5.5" X 4.25" card base with heavy card stock and pasted the watercolored image on it using double sided tapes. To finish off this project, I added sentiments with Tim Holtz idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers.

Favorite Technique Stenciling Mixed Media Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "USE YOUR FAVORITE TECHNIQUE". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we use products from Dyan Reaveley aka Dylusions. Out guest designer of this month is Rox aka Red Dirt Crafter. Please visit her blog for all the beautiful creations and great inspiration!


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Spray Bundle and Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil Noteworthy, Nature and Ringer on the background of this #8 tag. I distressed the edges of the tag using Art daubers and outlined the tag using a black pen. 


The tag was decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi and Tim Holtz idea-ology GAUGE FRAMES Embellishments that were colored with Distress Paints. I then added some Tim Holtz stickers to finish this project.
