Mixed Media Tag Spritz and Splatter


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPRITZ and SPLATTER". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT on the background, then colored it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 COLOR Set and splattered it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome.


To start this project, I trimmed the watercolor paper into a #8 tag and stamped the image on the tag using the black ink pad and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT. The image was colored with Zig watercolors and the water brushes. 


I spritzed and splattered the Distress Paint and water mixture with a brush on the tag. The metal embellishments were glued on the tag. To finish off this project I added some sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers.

Valentine's Day Card Bright and Cheerful


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BRIGHT and COLORFUL". It’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. The designer of the month is lovely Cassie Lynch. Please visit her blog for a real treat!


I was inspired to create a Valentine's Day card using Simon Says Clear Stamps Lined Heart To Be Loved and Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies To Be Loved. For the card base, I trimmed the watercolor paper into 4.25" X 5.5", and stamped the heart and sentiments on the background using Simon Says Clear Stamps Lined Heart To Be Loved, and black and black ink pads. The heart was colored using Zig watercolors and Spellbinders Water Brush Set 3 Pack.


I die cut a heart with the pink card stock, Big Shot and Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies To Be Loved. The die cut pink card stock was layered and pasted on the card base. To finish off this Bright and Cheerful project, I added with Prima Marketing Floral Splendor In The Moment Flowers and Stamperia Old Lace Stripes Rub Ons. and some metal embellishments on this colorful card.

Mixed Media Tag Have a Heart


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HAVE a HEART". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies and Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips Gratitude. 


To start this project, I created the texture on the tag with Paper Artsy stencil and the modeling paste. I colored the texture on the background of the tag with different colors of Distress Paints. 


I layered the die cut heart and mini paper dolls and pasted them on the tag using double sided foam tapes. To finish off this project, I added some Tim Holtz metal embellishments, die cut sentiments and stickers.

Mixed Media Tag Fun with Foils


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FUN WITH FOIL". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology BASEBOARD FRAMES on the background, and decorated it with American Crafts Foil Washi Tape and Pinkfresh Studio Foiled Sentiments 6 Ephemera Set.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper from Stamperia Rose collection and pasted it on the #8 tag. I trimmed the tag with a distress tool, and an art dauber and Distress Ink Pad. I then outlined thee tag with a black pen. 


The Tim Holtz Baseboard frame and mini dolls were layered and pasted on the tag. I decorated the tag with a sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio Foiled Sentiments 6 Ephemera Set and Tim Holtz idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book. I also added the beautiful foiled wash tapes on the tag and finished off this fun with foil tag with Prima flowers.

Mixed Media Tag Add Some Texture


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD SOME TEXTURE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stencil on the background for the texture, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi and Tim Holtz idea-ology Screw Heads.


To start this project, I applied the model paste over the Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stencil on the #8 tag with a palette knife to create the texture on the background. The tag then was colored with different colors of Distress Paints. I distressed the tag with an art dauber, Distress Ink pad and a black pen. 


I added the mini dolls on the tag then attached some Tim Holtz metal embellishments. To finish off this project, I pasted some sentiment using Tim Holtz Sticker Book.

Birthday Day Tag Something New


Happy new year! My dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SOMETHING NEW". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from AALL & Create. Our guest designer of the month is the lovely Pauline C. Please visit her blog for all the great inspiration and creations. 


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using AALL & Create Buttercream Birdy Bliss A7 Clear Stamps on the background, and colored it with Copic Markers. The background of tag was colored with watercolors.
