Mixed Media Tag Sun Moon Stars



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SUN, MOON, STARS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels and Tim Holtz Idea-ology ODDS AND ENDS Embellishments.


To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Stamperia Alchemy Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag then distressed the edges of the tag with the distress tool, and the art dauber and the Distress Ink Pad. 


The tag was stenciled on the background with The Crafter's Workshop WHITE MODELING PASTE and 
Tim Holtz Distress Paint Dauber FOSSILIZED AMBER Ranger using a Hero Arts Tools Palette Knife. I added the sun and moon images cut out from Stamperia Alchemy Paper. The sentiments were pasted on the using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels. I added some Tim Holtz metal embellishments to finish off this SUN, MOON and STARS project.

Watercolor Tag Wanted



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WATERCOLOR". I was inspired to create a watercolored tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Howdy on the background, colored it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush and added sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book.


I started this project with stamping the Howdy images on the watercolor paper tag with Simon Says Clear Stamps Howdy and Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad. The tag was colored using Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. I distressed the tag with Stamperia Create Happiness FINGER TOOLS Daubers and colored the edges of the tag with Memento TUXEDO BLACK MARKER Dual Tip Tsukineko.


I added the metal embellishments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology HITCH FASTENERS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LARGE HINGE. To finish off this project, I pasted some stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book for the sentiments.

Watercolor Art Journal


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ART JOURNAL". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Ranger DYLUSIONS INK SPRAY SET OF 6 Dyan Reaveley on the background, then stamped it with Studio Light MY GIRLS Clear Stamps ABM Mixed-Up Collection and colored it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.

To start this art journal page, I sprayed the background with Dylusions Ink Spray. I stamped the cute girl images with Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad and colored them using Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.


The moon and circle embellishments were cut out from the Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper. I added the sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Mixed Media Tag Inspired by Music



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "INSPIRED BY MUSIC". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Graphic 45 REGULAR TAG & GEARS Staples Die on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps CARVED INSTRUMENTS and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOTEWORTHY.

To start this project, I watercolored the background of the tag. The gear embellishment was die cut and pasted on the tag using Tombow glue. On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the music instrument images and colored them with watercolors. The colored images were cut and pasted on the tag using double sided foam tapes. 

I added some sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers. I also stamped some sentiments on the watercolor paper, and cut them to adhered on the tag. To finish off this project, I attached some Tim Holtz metal embellishments.

Mothers Day Tag Paint It Dyan Reaveley



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "PAINT IT". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dyan Reaveley. Our guest designer this week is lovely Cassie Lynch aka mk_knits. Please visit her blog for all the awesome inspiration.


I was inspired to create a mixed media Mother's Day tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps SWOOPY FLOWERS and the black ink pad to stamp the flower image on the background. I colored it with Ranger DYLUSIONS INK SPRAY SET OF 6 Dyan Reaveley and Ranger Studio Paint ARTIST BRUSHES Brush.


I die cut the sentiment using Simon Says Stamp Simple Mother's Day Wafer Dies and Big Shot, and pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. To complete this tag, I adhered some Tim Holtz metal embellishments.
