Easter / Spring Stencil Tag

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STENCIL IT". I was inspired to create a spring tag using Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil HIPSTER BUNNY on the background, and embellished the tag with a cute bunny from Simon Says Clear Stamps Easter Critters then colored it using Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.

I started this project with stenciling the background of the tag using Tim Holtz Easter stencil, art daubers and various colors of Tim Holtz Ink Pads. I distressed the edges of the tag using the ink pad and a black pen.

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the cute bunny image and the sentiment from Simon Says Clear Stamps Easter Critters then colored it using Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. The image and sentiment were cut and pasted on the tag using double sided tapes.

Watercolor Whatever the Weather Wall Art Studio Light

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WHATEVER THE WEATHER". I was inspired to create a watercolored wall art using Studio Light MY GIRLS Clear Stamps ABM Mixed-Up Collection on the background, colored it with Daniel Smith Watercolor, and decorated it with Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper.

To start this project, I trimmed a piece of 5" X 7" watercolor paper and stamped the cute girl image using Studio Light MY GIRLS Clear Stamps ABM Mixed-Up Collection and the black ink pad on it. I colored the image with Daniel Smith watercolors and Ranger Studio Paint ARTIST BRUSHES Brush.

The sentiment was added with Tim Holtz Sentiment sticker and the double side foam tape. I cut the sun image from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and pasted it on the watercolored image to complete this Whatever the Weather wall art.

Easter Embossing Tag Watercolor

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "EMBOSSING IT". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some of our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. This week our guest designer is lovely Pauline C aka Passion For Papercraft. I was inspired to create a Easter bunny tag using Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil HIPSTER BUNNY and Simon Says Stamp EMBOSSING POWDER CLEAR Fine Detail on the background, and colored it with Prima Marketing VINTAGE PASTELS Watercolor Confections Set.

To start this project, I trimmed the size 8 tag using the watercolor paper. I stamped the bunny image on the background of the tag with the Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil HIPSTER BUNNY and the black ink pad. The image was heat embossing using Simon Says Stamp EMBOSSING POWDER CLEAR Fine Detail and a heat gun. Then it was colored with Prima watercolors. I covered the bunny image and stenciled the tag with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray and the stencil in Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil HIPSTER BUNNY. I heat embossed the stenciled background with Simon clear embossing powder again.

To create the sentiment, I watercolored the watercolor paper with Prima watercolors and stamped the sentiment. It was cut, and layered with a card stock then adhered on the tag using double sided tapes. A clip was added on the tag to finish off this embossed watercolored Easter tag.
