Mixed Media Love Tag Lets Be On Time

Hi, my dear friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "LET'S BE ON TIME". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Sir Vagabond Gears and Clock Grayboard embellishment and decorated it with Prima Marketing Sugar Cookie Christmas Flowers and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Chips.

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Memoranda Collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool, and Distress Ink Pad and blending tool. I also outlined the tag using a black pen. 

The clock was from Stmperia Sir Vagabond Gears and Clock Grayboard and colored with the Distress Paints. I arranged flower embellishments from Prima Marketing on the tag. Some sentiments were added using Tim Holtz Metallic Stickers and Quote Chips. To finish off this project, I attached some metal embellishments.

Mixed Media Valentines Tag Wheel

Hello, crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "We’re On A Roll" -  simply add wheels, cogs, paper rolls, circles, balls, anything you can think of to your project! 

I was inspired to creat a mixed media Valentine's Day Tag using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Mini Pulley Wheels Findings and added sentiments using Simon Says Clear Stamp Love Greetings Mix Love You.

I started this project by applying the modeling paste using the palette knife on this size 8 tag to create some texture on the background, then colored it with Distress Paints. The Pulley embellishment were colored with the gold paint and pasted on the tag. 

The sentient was stamped on Tim Holtz Memoranda Pattern paper, cut and distressed the edges with Distress Ink Pad and the blending tool. I attached two die cut hearts, a colored clip and some hardware embellishments on the tag. As the final touch, some Gesso and water mixture was splattered  randomly on the tag.
