Mixed Media Holiday Card Celebrate Happiest Season

Hello, my beautiful crafty friends, welcome back for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "CELEBRATE".  This challenge will last for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to get your glad rags on and join in! We will be back on the 4th January!  I was inspired to create a Christmas card to celebrate the holidays using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp 2020 Bold Tidings 3 and heat embossed it with Ranger Embossing Powder Gold. The card was decorated with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Bell Findings and Darice Tiny Star Silver Sequins. 

This is pretty simple card so you can make many to send to your loved ones. I started this project by trimming the white heavy card stock in to 5.5"x4.25" card base, then layered the red card stock which is slightly smaller then the base. On a piece of black card stock I stamped the holiday sentiment and heat embossed it with the gold embossing powder. 

On a piece of white card stock I stamped the "HAPPIEST" with red ink pad and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. This sentiment was trimmed and pasted it on the gold sentiment using double sided tapes. 

This holiday card was decorated with tiny bells and some Christmas flowers. To finish off this project, I randomly added some star sequins around the embossed sentiment. Mixed Media Christmas Tag Ice Cold Holiday

Hello, my dear crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ICE COLD". I was inspired to create a mixed media holiday tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Geo Christmas Thinlits Die, and decorated it with Idea-Ology Christmas Word Adornment and Tiny Bell Findings.

I started this project with applying Distress Paint on the background of this size 8 tag, then adding the modeling paste using a palette knife on the bottom of the tag to create the snow. I also splatted some Gesso and water mixture to make the falling snow. 

The Christmas tree was die cut using Tim Holtz Sizzix Geo Christmas Thinlits Die, the patterned paper from Mini Christmas Paper Stash and a Big Shot. The tiny bells and Christmas Word Adornment were attached on the tag to decorate this holiday tag.
