Hello, my dearest crafty friends! I hope you all enjoy the weekend so far. Today, I have a special post for you. As you may know that we are celebrating STAMPtember in this special month of the year at Simon Says Stamp. There are some awesome EXCLUSIVE Tim Holtz stamps and stencils release today! And I am so excited to share the project I created using these beautiful stamps and stencils.
To create this tag, I first stenciled the background using Modeling Paste and Tim Holtz Christmas Stencil with a palette knife. The texture around the edges of the tag was also created using Modeling Paste.
I applied Distress Paint and Distress Stain on the poinsettia and the texture using pen brushes on the background
On the kraft paper, I stamped the sentiment and wreath image using black ink. The image was heat embossed using clear embossing powder, then colored with watercolors.
Some Tim Holtz metal embellishments were attached on the tag with Tombow Glue. I splattered the Gesso and water mixture randomly on the background for more interest.
The sentiment stickers were from Tim Holtz Occasions Small Talk stickers.
I hope you got inspired and got a chance to use these fabulous new released Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Simon Says Stamp. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend and happy crafting!
