Mixed Media Tag Be Open

newchallenge sssm

Hello, friends, this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we challenge you to use sprays on your project. There are so many sprays available from lots of different manufacturers. You can also make your own to suit your project!

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag this week.

Meihsia Liu Simply Paper Crafts Mixed Media Tag 600

Distress Spray Stain is one of my favorite coloring product and was used on most of my mixed media project.

On the background of this #8 tag, I first pasted the Tim Holtz patterned paper then sprayed Distress Spray Stain over Tim Holrz Layering Stencil, and embossed the pattern with ColorBox Clear Embossing Powder. The edges of the tag was distressed with ColorBox ink pad.

I layered the Prima Flowers on the tag using Tombow Glue. Some motivational sentiments from Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers were added using Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers.

Some Tim Holtz metal embellishments were attached on the tag. For the last step, I tied the bakers twine to finish off this project. Hope you got inspired to create your project with sprays and share with us.

  15. Of course the entire tag is lovely and perfectly balanced, but I want to say I specifically like the way you attached the little plane tag to the top with staples! Looks cool!

  16. This is another fantastic piece! I'm always intrigued by your details and how you make everything work so well. I would've never thought to put two file tabs on the the same tag, but you made it work perfectly!
