Tag Hearts

newchallenge sssm

Hello, my dear crafty friends, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and welcome back to my blot. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we want to see your project created with stencils. There are so many fabulous stencils available right now and there are so many techniques you can use with them. Please join us and share what you can do with stencils!

I created a mixed media tag with a stenciled background.

I am so looking forward to Valentine's Day. This week, I decided to create a love themed mixed media tag.

The texture on the background of the tag was created with Modeling Paste. The text was stenciled using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Valentine, ColorBox pigment inkpads and Art Dauber.

I also adhered the Prima Flowers hearts resin and Tim Holtz metal embellishments for more interest. The butterfly was cut out from the patterned paper.

I added Tim Holtz Rubs on randomly on the tag, and attached the metal embellishments using Tombow Mono Glue.

I hope you got inspired and create your project with stencils. Looking forward to seeing your creation!
