ClearSnap and Graphic 45 Blog Hop

Hello, Clearsnap and Graphic 45 friends, today I'd like to share two projects featuring some beautiful inks from Clearsnap, and papers from Graphic 45. I really love these two gorgeous paper pads I received free for this blog hop from Graphic 45 so I decided to use both of them on my projects.

The first project is a jewelry box I made using Graphic 45 ATC Book Box covered with Gilded Lily paper. Then I decorated the box with some accent pearls and decorative trim.

After the Ornate Metal Key Hole was colored, I attached it on the box with the glue and fasteners.

The edge of the box were distressed with ColorBox Mix'd Media Inx using ColorBox Art Daubers.

The sentiment was stamped with ColorBox black pigment ink by Teresa Collin and Graphic 45 cling stamp. Flowers cut out form the same paper pad and some paper flowers were glued on the box to finish off this jewelry box.

The second project I created is a 6" X 8" mixed media canvas wall hanging or desktop decor.

The background of this canvas was covered with the patterned paper from Graphic 45 Artisan Style Set. On the edges of this canvas, I applied modeling paste to create the texture.

I really love the inspirational sentiment from the same paper pad so I cut it out and pasted it with the other embellishments such as the housed and flowers that were also cut out from the Artisan Style Set. All these embellishments were pasted on the canvas with foam tapes to create the dimensional effect.

Some more paper flowers and leaves were layered and pasted with the glue and foam tapes to decorate the canvas.

To finish off this project, I distressed the edges with ColorBox Pigment Inks and Art Daubers, then embossed them using ColorBox clear embossing powder and a heat tool.

  1. Love both of these Meihsia! That jewelry box is absolutely adorable. Like something out of a fairy tale princess story. Love the sentiment on the inside and the lace and the pearls -- stunning. The layering on the canvas is awesome too. That background (modeling paste over pattern paper) is such a great idea. Perfect for all the vibrant hues of the layers. Wow!! -- Mary Elizabeth
