ClearSnap and ClearScraps Mixed Media Album

Hello, my dear crafty friends, today I'd like to share a mixed media album created with Clearscraps Mixable Fancy Album featuring Clearsnap Smooch and Izink inks. There are also fun background techniques and Surfacez inks used on this projects.

These are the materials I received from ClearScraps. The Mixable Fancy Album is an unique 5.75" X 7" acrylic and chipboard mixed album. Each album includes five cascading pages. You will need to buy rings separately. I love these four beautiful mirror butterflies and the cute Family Tree stencil. Just remember to remove the protective film from both side of acrylic in the album, and the film from front of the mirror butterflies before embellishing.

To start the project, I applied the Gesso on the chipboard, then colored each chipboard with various colors of Smooch. Izink inks were added to crate some random patterns. The background was layered with some images of Rollagraph Jumbo Design Wheel and Mix'd Media Inx.

I distressed the chipboards with Mix'd Media Inx using Art Daubers from ColorBox Blending Kit. To create and texture, I heat embossed the chipboard with ColorBox Embossing Powder. The sentiment was stamped with Hero Arts stamp and Mix'd Media Inx.

The mirror butterfly was attached on the acrylic cover of the album and embellished with some adhesive gems. The album was bound with dyed and crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

The acrylic pages were distressed with Surfacez inks. I really love the vibrant and beautiful colors of all the inks on these chipboard and acrylic pages in this album.

There were some more sentiments stamped on the acrylic using Surfacez inks and Hero Arts stamp.

The family tree image was stenciled using ColorBox Pigment Ink Gold Shine by Teresa Collins. I randomly dropped some Izink ink to make some fun patterns. Then cut and pasted the stamped sentiment to finish off this project.
