Using Spritz® and ColorBox® Art Screens

Hey, my dear friends, this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we are having a "Paste" challenge. I'll share a tutorial shows you how to use a stencil and modeling paste to create a mixed media project on the canvas this Wednsday so please be sure to come back.

Today I'd like to share two simple cards using my favorite products from Clearsnap - Smooch Spritz® and ColorBox® Art Screens.

To make these two cards I simply spray the Smooch Spritz® in two shades over the ColorBox® Art Screens to create the background patterns. Some beautiful buttons and Prima Flower were attached to add more interest.

Hope you enjoyed my creations and are inspired to use Smooch Spritz® and ColorBox® Art Screens to make something beautiful. For more information about the products from Clearsnap, please check Clearsnap blog.

Be sure to come back on Wednesday for my tutorial at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

Thank you so much for dropping by. Happy crafting!

What are on my desk?

My internet router was down last week and I just got the replacement yesterday. Since there's no internet connection for many days, I spent more time on doodling while watching winter Olympics with kids.

As some of you may know that Faber-Castell has been my favorite coloring product and my kids are my biggest creative inspiration. Here on my desk, there are some random drawings of girl image using Faber-Castell Gelatos and PITT pens. As you can see, Natalie is the inspiration of my drawing. LOL....

Natalie and Christophter are so into Olympics games and they want me to draw something that cheers for team USA. So here's what I drew on a 5" X 7" canvas while watching bobsledding.

The background on this canvas was colored with Gelatos and stamped with Claudine Hellmuth foam stamps.

The sentiment was made with Tim Holtz Label Letters.

Love the creamy and rich colors of Gelatos. I really enjoy this simple creation and kids love it, too.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I can't wait to visit your blogs and see what you have been creating. Have a wonderful day!

A Cameo Appearance

Hey, my dear blog crafty friends, are you ready for the new challenge? This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we want you to create something with "Cameo".  Would you make something with vintage cameos or vintage inspired cameos?

I was inspired to create a wall hanging with layers of contrasting colors.

A cameo reminds me of a profile and contrasting colors so I altered this burlap panel with various elements in black and white colors after stamping this girl's profile image using the Glitz clear stamp.

Some of my favorite beautiful vintage buttons were hot glued on the Prima Flowers.

I used machine sewed stitches around the background paper and the circled paper of the cameo image.

Some beautiful metal embellishments were attached to add the interest on this piece.

Since this girl is a beautiful dreamer, I attached the stamped sentiment "dare to dream" on Tim Holtz film strip ribbon.
Supply List:

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to a random entry chosen by Random Generator. So please join us for this week's Cameo challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight. Good luck!
