Happy World Card Making Day! My dear crafty friends. I'm so excited to be celebrating World Card Making Day 2014 with you and my friends at Clearsnap!! We're kicking off the celebration today with cards, cards, and more cards from our Creative Team to inspire you and spark your mojo!
Make sure you check out the Official World Card Making Day site to submit your work and enter to win an amazing prize pack from the WCMD 2014 sponsors (like us!).
Today, I'd like to share two cards featuring my favorite Izink Inks distributed by Clearsnap.
I've always love to use Izink Inks to create the background of my projects including cards, layouts, art journal pages, or mixed media altered creations. Here are two ways to create background colors and patterns using Izink Inks on cards.
For the background of the second card, I randomly dropped Izink Inks on the watercolor paper then sparyed water over the inks on the paper. Dry the watercolor paper with a heat tool then sew it on the card base. The last step was attaching the layers of embellishments with Foam Squares and making a ribbon with Seam Binding on the card.
I hope you enjoyed my card and create something to celebrate this World Card Making Day!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
