Art Journal - Observations & Found

Hello, my sweet crafty friends, hope your week is going well. I am currently having my summer vacation and traveling with family out of the country. I always love to observe people through their faces when traveling. It's fun to imagine or make up a story behind those faces after observing.

This week Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge challenges you to be inspired by a face of some kind - from face stamps to the face of a clock, cameos to silhouettes – just be inspired by a face.

I create an art journal page with the face of this beautiful girl for this week's challenge.

I stamped the face image of this Prima Flowers Sophie Bloom Cling Stamp and colored it with watercolors. The girl's beautiful hair was decorated with Prima Flowers.

The beautiful butterfly was cut using Simon Says Stamp Devonshire Butterfly die.

Tim Holtz Words Rubs are so easy to use to add fun sentiments or textures on the journal page.

The background was colored with Izink inks and watercolors. Tim Holtz Layering Stencil and Simon Says Stamp Stencil were used to layer the background patterns.

I hope my journal page inspired you to create a project with some kind of face on it.  Have fun!!!
