Happy spring, everyone! Wow.. I am so happy that spring is officially here. We have a beautiful weather here in Dallas this week and I can totally feel the spring is in the air. So today, I'd like to share a sweet sunshine card using some recycled material for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and our theme is "Transparent". It's always great to recycle and protect our environment.
I upcycled kids toy packaging and made this transparent card with lovely sunshine.
I upcycled kids toy packaging and made this transparent card with lovely sunshine.

Most toy and gift packaging is recyclable. I used this toy packaging as the card base, and create this simple and fun card to display on my work desk. This is also a great project to play with kids celebrating spring and teaching them recycling.
The packaging was cut into a standard card size 4.25" X 11" and folded in half using bone folder.
I applied a layer of Gesso on the background then decorated the card with Prima Flowers, American Crafts Chipboard Stickers, Vintage Trinkets and Say It in Crystals using Gel Medium and Foam Square.

Love the gorgeous sunshine colors and the fun transparent look on the background of this card.
