WOYWW

Happy WOYWW, friends, I've been playing some drawing and
coloring today. It's like back to childhood in the art class, I had
so much fun. These are what currently on my work desk.
These all are 4" X 6" acrylic linen canvas paper and I used Faber-Castell
crayons, Gelatos and PITT big brush pens to color these pieces.

Love Lisa Kaus's whimsical and fun style and inspired by her,
I drew some simple objects. Going to have the postcard stamp
on the back and make them postcards.

Will keep drawing something different.
Hope you all have a great WOYWW.
Thank you for stopping by.  ^_^

Fun to Read

Hello, friends, hope you all have a great week so far.
Today, I'd like to share my DT layout made for Sketchabilities #90.
I've combined this beautiful sketch with the pretty color palette
from Scrap Friends Yummy Scrap #12 to make this layout.
Here is what I come up with.
I misted the Color Shine with stencil and splattered some acrylic paint on the
background. Pasted some washi tapes and layers under the photo. The sentiment
letters are from October Afternoon and American Crafts Thickers.
The photo of Christopher was taken in the afternoon one day we were in
the car waiting for picking up Natalie from school, Christopher was reading
an Origami book. He loves to make origami especially those Star War characters.
This layout also links to The Studio Challenge - Masks.

Here is the sketch from Sketchabilities #90.
And this is the beautiful color palette from Scrap Friends.
Please check more inspiration from our Sketchabilities DT smaples
and join us for this fun challenge.

Thank you for dropping by. Have a wonderful day. ^_^

Hello, my blog friends. It's always fun for me to play coloring and doodling.
Today, I'd like to share what I've created using ColorBox ink and Smooch
products.  Here is my first creation and some quick steps show how
I made this piece.
I spray Smooch Spritz and water  together on the craft sheet.
Press the 3" X 4" watercolor paper face down into the ink mixed with
water. Dry the paper and doodle on it.

Color the image and letters with Smooch.  Use ColorBox ink and
bubble wrap to stamp randomly on the background.

Use date stamp to and ColorBox chalk ink to stamp on the background
and charcoal pencil to add texture.

Add Tim Holtz ChitChat stickers, diecut heart, light bulb and gear.

And here is the final look. ^_^

Made second piece using the same size watercolor paper and same color
products. And on this piece, I used stencil and Fiskars and Heidi Grace stamps.

Just Enjoy

Hello, my dear blog friends, I'm sure you all enjoyed your weekend.
Today, I'd like to share this DT sample I made for Sketchabilities using #89
sketch. One of my new year resolutions for 2013 is "eat healthier diet,
do more exercise, and lose weight"  but it's so hard for me to resist dessert.
At a restaurant during our family lunch last month, I took this photo but
fianlly didn't eat any dessert. When I looked back this photo in my camera,
I was thinking  "I should have just enjoyed it!"  LOL...

The paper I used in this layout is from Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic collection.
Please check Sketchabilities for all the gorgeous samples from our talented
designers and hope you all join us for this fun sketch.  Thank you for stopping
by. Have a wonderful day.  ^_^
