ATC Advent Calendar 2013

Hi, Simon Says Stamp friends, it's time to play our new challenge again. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we are playing the holiday countdown. Whether you're working on December Daily, doing an advent calendar, creating home decor with numbers, or perhaps just making holiday cards and counting down how many you have left to make, we want to see how you count down to the holidays this week.

I was inspired to create an ATC advent calendar with non-traditional Christmas color scheme.

This is my 3rd ATC advent calendar since I made the first one in 2011. I used this calendar to count down to Christmas and document something I learned or was important to me that year.

All these ATCs are 3.5" X 2.5" with .5" excess on the top with two punched holes to hang on the burlap canvas for displaying.  The numbers on the calendar were stamped, punched out, distressed and pasted on the ATCs using foam squares.

I used the pigment ink pad to distress the edges of these ATCs. We had some traveling and vacation this year, so I attached some transportation wood veneers on some ATCs.

I also attached one word that inspired me from the Tim Holtz Chitchat Stickers on each ATC. All ATCs were made using Prima Flower Printery Paper and decorated with Prima Flower embellishments.

Supply List:

Please join us for counting down to the holidays by making your countdown project. As always, Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to a random entry chosen by Random Generator.  And you might be on the Designer Spotlight on our Friday post.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holidays.

Happy crafting!

Meihsia ^_^
