Simple Altered Shadow Box

I've altered a gift box into a shadow box for hanging my key chains today.
There are only few steps to alter this box.

Cover the box with Gesso and tissue paper.
( Only the front of the box was covered)

Attach frame sawtooth hanger.

Decorate with some embellishments.

  2. Ohigoodness. I am going to do this one, I think!! Lovely job (mine will have quite a different flavor, but I love having shadow boxes bring depth to whatever I am expressing. Sometimes I use trays as shadow boxes and I have a couple right now to work with, as a matter of fact.

    BRILLIANT!!

So grateful to find you today via AEDM!

  11. This is wonderful, and sort of reminds me of my grandfather's keys hanging in their kitchen beside the lacy curtains.

  12. Interesting collection. I like the contrast between the soft lace and metallic objects.
